The Workshop: “Humble paint went on... easy kap-easy”

Here’s a trick of the trade, for no extra charge. Add water to your exterior latex, especially when you’re working with barnboard.

I do like barnboard. (If you have some in your basement that you want to get rid of, give me a call. (1 -800-I’m-Cheep) However, when it comes to applying paint to it, I add water. The paint then goes on very quickly.

Tom Sawyer used whitewash. I used blue- and greenwash, and in a few years - after aging out-of-doors - these will look awesome. Of course, that’s just my humble opinion.
