Mrs. C. gives me a hard glare each time I position myself under her nest and aim the camera. She even ducks once I focus... to frustrate the heck out of me, I bet.
The apricot tree is so thick with leaves I have a hard time finding her above my head. But that's the way she wants it.
Several times per day, however, I see or hear her, and her mate, as they flit from the apricot tree to the blue spruce in the backyard or to a neighbour's fence or my feeder or a dozen other friendly locales.
Though they both are busy birds, I think Mrs. C. has the hardest work - putting up with my curiosity and camera.
