London received warm temperatures and a lot of rain while I visited Fenelon Falls for the New Year’s weekend.
Three feet of snow completely disappeared from some corners of the backyard.
Ice, 3/4 of an inch thick, replaced it.

This morning I welcomed a layer of fresh snow on the back deck.
Less chance now for me to fall and not get up.
Drip, drip, drip.

We will have to get used to rapidly changing weather patterns, thanks to climate instability.
