Water levels are higher in some parts of Australia than many people can handle.

Still, a display of good humour is often the order of the day.

So said an Australian blogger: "As you might already know with most Australians, even in times of adversity, we are pretty laid back people and still see humour in everything. And the community spirit in us....just awesome. Like the Nike ad, We "just do it."

Some towns have cleared up that well that no one would think a flood went past that town... "
