So I made a few sketches, bought a trunk load of lovely barn board - gray on both sides - and went to work in the shop.
Not a bad first round.
I could live in that second one!

70 years ago this year many members of the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR), attached to Combined Operations (my father included), were making plans to return to Canada after the WW2 invasion of Italy with Allied forces.
