Since the loss I have discovered that a skunk was not the culprit. 'Twas the wife. Fresh salad was on her mind as well.

Zoom w a View: "missing - one red pepper" (2)
Tyrone the Rooster was charged with keeping his eye on my significant red pepper crop. He took to the task eagerly but turned his back - "but once" (so he says).
Since the loss I have discovered that a skunk was not the culprit. 'Twas the wife. Fresh salad was on her mind as well.
Though I initially 'saw red', I got over it.
