In today’s column I shared a few excerpts from stories my father told about his involvement in WWII.
And I concluded by saying:
“On Remembrance Day I'll find a spot beside the bus used to transport a few veterans from Parkwood Hospital (dad died there about five years ago) to the service at Victoria Park and pay tribute to the fallen, those that remain, and brave men and women who serve us still.”
