A neighbour recently gave me two planks of 100-year old western cedar. I don't think there is a finer gift one could give to a dusty birdhouse builder.
Once I add a bit of colour to the perches I will try to find a suitable home for one (of the six) log cabins in Old East London, the part of the city that was once home to a carriage house made, in part, from the wood.
Any ideas?
