["Everybody needs a good clothesline"]

I've been building birdhouses lately that set me dreamin' about a future house of my own, i.e., a cabin near water with laundry flapping on the line. In the right location, purple martins would come visit every day. And I'd be a happy man, thinking about bigger and better birdhouse models and more ways to live small.

The clothes on the line make me think: If I want my new pants to last a long time I need to hem the cuffs, and stop the fraying when they flap in the breeze.

So, my day begins w a 'note to self'.
