Sit down. This column could get your heart a-racin’
Heart rates are pushed into panic-mode or into ‘pop the lid’ territory for many reasons.
My heart races when I face Gary Pettit’s hard shot during a hockey game. (Gary works for General Dynamics and has a shot like a cannon). It thumps heavily when I misplace my wallet, like last week, when it travelled - by itself, it wasn’t my fault - between interconnected outside and inside pockets of a jacket and settled under a wad of napkins.
Many of us hear our heart when house keys are lost, car repair bills seem unreasonable or brakes screech nearby.
And for certain, many hearts race when the topic of pension reform arises.

Hi sheila and bobbie. Thanks for visiting It Strikes.

Once I'm on my motorcycle again I'll show off a few of my own too.
Cheers,
