[a snail's journey on my back deck continues]

If my pet snail could talk, what would it say?

[Is this the edge of the universe? Now what do I do?"]

["I don't like the sawdust down there. How far can I jump?"]

["The gap is 2 cm. wide. And a 1, and a 2..."]

["If I slip and fall now I'm a goner. Hang on, Snailman!"]

Did he make it across the gap? Fall into the abyss? Is the story fast enough for you?
