The ties, perhaps once belonging to someone’s grandpa, are displayed in a shop window in Wortley Village, London.
They are on sale - $5 each.

Yesterday, after I saw them, I had to ask myself, is that what I want for Christmas?
They’re priced about right (You can’t get good polyester anymore!) but I think I owned ties just like a dozen of them years ago - and definitely don’t want them back.
They remind me of my teaching days. My pulse is starting to quicken. I feel like I’m strangling! Gaaahh!
Now, if you could find me a t-shirt from the 1960s, that would be a different story.
