While shovelling the back deck this morning in a t-shirt (I had to quickly reach the shed for a metal spade) I noticed the wind was a bit nippy.
["Remember when the dump truck was visible?"]
However, not nippy enough to move to Level 5 and add a scarf to the average Canadian winter ensemble.
["Today, it's nippy and the dump truck is still buried": photos GH]
Stick to four articles of winter clothing for sure: the heavy coat, the toque, the mitts, the warm boots. You’ll be fine.
The weather station’s dump truck is still buried in snow and - because of the nip aka nippiness - I can safely predict our snow cover will remain for several more days.
Shovelling tip: Don’t shovel your back deck in slippers. It’s slippery out there.
