Canada's poor environment minister looks ahead to nothing

Our environment minister's name - Jim Prentice.

Our environment minister's job description - to move his lips when our prime minister moves his fingers.

Poor guy. Prentice used to be an up-and-comer. Now, a puppet.

He moved his lips recently (as reported in yesterday's London Free Press):

"When it's finished on Friday (Copenhagen climate change talks), that's pretty much the close of it.

"At that point any matters that are unresolved just carry on in this COP process (Climate Or Profit? Just a guess. GAH)) working towards mexico which will be the next meeting."

(The climate meeting in Mexico is scheduled for 2011).

So, our environment minister's next stop (if he's still around) - Mexico.

Our environment minister's next assignment - to do nothing again, maybe smile for the cameras.
