Gordie Boy: “simple fried egg” 2

It’s true. I turn up my pretty nose at expensive kitchen luxuries. And the habit started early in life.

Here I am at age 7 or 8 - with oldest sister Lannie and Dad - taking in the news. Look at my smile. 

“You clean up your room, Gordie Boy, and you’ll get two fried eggs for supper.”

Throw in a slice of old cheddar and I’d even clean up Lannie’s room!
