I don’t mind fall or winter weather. After all, I’ve invested a tidy sum in warm clothing for the purpose of tramping about and snooping at nearby house renos and enjoying the work that others do in front gardens (back gardens too if I can see through your fence slats).
And, as many other walkers realize, once one ‘gets going’, the body becomes its own furnace and pumps out all the heat needed to cover a few miles comfortably.
Recently I noticed most trees and bushes are bare but the leaves on my neighbour’s oak tree are ‘hanging in there’... so to speak.
