What does this tell you about the Conservative attitude?

This from a Sept. 12 article in The London Free Press entitled ‘Government could be on the brink’:

Conservatives want to avoid an election, but won't be beaten into impractical or unaffordable "back room deals," Transport and Infrastructure Minister John Baird said.

Does John Baird think parliamentary cooperation is on par with a beat down?

If he has to sit down with other parties to make government work, does the process offend every bone in his head?

As well, ‘Baird said the government has a focused plan to steer Canada through troubled times by creating jobs and stimulating the economy.’

Can he do this alone? His party represents less than half of Canada but can stand alone and tall?

I doubt it very much.

The clock is ticking on our natural environment and Conservatives worry about a beat down.

If an election is around the corner, I have my pencil ready and a clean shirt in the closet.
