Zoom w a View: Softer images from a land of rock and cold water

When I think of the Bruce Peninsula I recall hard rock, water that takes your breath away sharply, big skies, thick wood lots.

While sitting on a cedar deck last weekend, however, fogged rolled over two capes on my left (Cabot Head) and right (Cape Chin) before raising goosebumps on my skin and I saw another side to the Pen.

Everything within sight slowly developed softer edges.

Before the sun returned and burned off the fog I felt as if I had Dyer’s Bay to myself.
