When the old fence boards were dropped off I knew I could make birdhouses out of them.
I didn't know how pretty the old cedar was, however, until I skimmed 1/16th of an inch off the red stained surface (with the help of my table saw).
It looks pretty good on its own, and funkier after I messed with a few artsy fartsy buttons on my computer. Funky, sturdy, birdhouses are underway.
