keeping the shop alive 4

Before opening the workshop door this morning I peeked through the window and asked, "What's to do today?" The answer was on the floor, partially obscured by the reflection of the small work deck.

["What is that anyway? I should know!"]

Birdhouses. Five from 'cleaned up' cedar fence boards. Four more, same wood, old stain still upon the surface. (I cleaned up a few boards on the table saw the other day by skimming off 1/16th of an inch of the stained surface. Not a bad result.)

Today I drill the holes, sand all surfaces lightly and assemble with the brad nailer. Easy kap-easy with the fan running and dust flying. And tomorrow is another work day. (You know what comes next, right?)
