Bird Watching: "food finding mission"

We humans are always conducting fact finding missions. It's in our nature to search for facts.

(For example, Niagara Falls was discovered by early settlers hundreds of years ago, about three days after a fact finding mission set out from a small start-up village on the north shore of Lake Erie to answer two questions: Where did Earl get off to in the boat? Where's that loud rumbling coming from?)

Birds, however, are always conducting food finding missions. It's in their nature to search for food.

Once birds find a feeding station - a tray of seeds or a few leftovers - they will return on a regular basis.
