32 Days ‘til Christmas: Will you spend or save money in 2010?

A recent survey by Deloitte Canada finds “a majority of Canadian consumers plan to spend the same or less than last year” over the Christmas season. (Nov. 17, London Free Press)

Here are the exact figures:

52 % of respondents say they will spend the same

44 % say they will spend less

4 % say they will boost their Christmas spending

Also, 75 % of respondents said “they planned to use any extra income or a bonus to pay down debt or save.”
