Every time I ride through there I think the following:
I could live here. Just me and the crickets.
Don't tell my wife!
.
live small. love others. laugh, even in tough times.
Once again I’m enjoying my walks in downtown London
If the title of this week’s column sounds familiar it proves that you’ve been paying attention. And you deserve a very high score! The exact words in the title appeared in last week’s column, under a photograph of the fountain at the Forks of the Thames. (If you already knew that, add ten more points).

I have finally figured out where that Powersville sign is. I was interested in it because, although Powersville is not on Google maps, you said it was within 1 km of the New Sarum Diner, and I know people who used to live there. So using Google street view, and following the road south, I spotted the sign. I am guessing that this sign is not a real village sign, maybe something put up by locals?
small world, Robert, that you know one of the 27 residents of Powersville.
the sign is very well made, maybe one of the locals works for the municipality. if I'm w another biker, I usually stop to point it out.
the Powersville road starts on the south side of highway 3, east of the diner, and travels south to a road that starts w 'B'. B Rd. is gravel to the left, paved and downhill to the right to one of my favourite stops at the bridge in photo. pavement continues to Quaker Rd. which goes north to #3 or south to Sparta. lovely countryside back in that region. my bike could almost get there by itself -i'm there so often.
I think I got the timing right this year for storing the bike - in on Monday.
cheers
Yes, it is a small world. Actually, she does not live there any more. But she always says she lived in New Sarum, also, her laneway did not come out on Powers Road. I never heard of Powersville before seeing that sign in your blog.
