The Maple Leafs: We have to look on the bright side

They allowed two goals in the span of 19 seconds last night - that helped deflate them - then they ran into a brick wall in the Tampa Bay net.

However, it ain’t over until I say it’s over.

Let’s look at the current Eastern NHL standings and pick out some Leaf highlights.


What do we see?

The Leafs have 13 points in 14 games and are under the dreaded playoff line.

They are four points out of the basement.

They’ve lost six in a row.

Now, about those highlights.

Ummm...
