Zoom w a View: “Okay, I won’t steal Steve’s Schwinn”

I really like Big Steve’s Schwinn bicycle. He said it’s a 1960’s model and weighs about 75 pounds.


75 pounds. I lifted it off the ground during his visit to my workshop the other day. Yipes. He was right.


It’s a work of art. Big Steve paid $600 to a used bicycle dealer. But it has a big seat to fill. (And $600 is a bit steep for me... for now. Maybe ‘someday.’)

So I’ll stick with my 1964 Raleigh 10-speed and new high-performance hybrid for now.
