Last Batch for the Green (2)
The Gathering on the Green is celebrating a significant anniversary on Saturday and visitors (some carrying cold drinks and $1 hot dogs), entertainers and crafters from around the world will gather behind the old Normal School in Wortley Village under sunny skies.
For the 5th or 6th year (maybe longer) I'll be there behind a table happily serving up sturdy birdhouses made from new and rescued lumber and - starting at about 2 p.m. - hoping my feet hold out 'til five.
