Motorcycle Miles in August (1)

On Top of Oxford County

Parked at the intersection of Oxford 10 and Airport Rd.

I discovered a bit of high ground in Oxford County a number of years ago - on Airport Road, off Oxford Rd. 10 - and while motorcycling on Sunday I found myself in its vicinity. Though I hate loose gravel, and Airport Rd. has lots of it, I poked along until I reached (nearly) the highest piece of turf within view.

 Airport Rd. drops away looking toward the east

 Looking west one can enjoy big skies, toward London

 Looking north toward Ingersoll

Airport Rd. provides long views but its gravel surface cuts my patience short. Next time I will head east on paved roads only.
