The sailors aboard Queen of Bermuda did not get far after leaving Halifax in
January '42. The ship ran aground at Chebucto Head. "Grab a bucket, Boys!"

Introduction:
The first two drafts of sailors (RCNVR) who volunteered for Combined Operations left Halifax in a snowstorm, travelled south east for about 25 kilometres, then ran aground. The events that followed are listed in sailors' memoirs, three of whom are quoted in the video that follows.
