Canadian Icon

I would only risk life and limb to run upstairs at a dangerous clip in my son’s house, race outside onto a slippery wet balcony that hangs over rock so hard it almost kills a person just to look at it, and fumble with a camera (“Where’s the little ‘On’ button?”) for the likes of Gordie Howe, Celine Dion and one other Canadian icon whilst they swim in the Fenelon Falls channel.


Recognize the Canadian icon?

For local viewers who just came back indoors after shovelling 18 inches of snow off their front walk and drive (not counting the 3 ft. wall of snow the Corporation of the City of London just dumped behind our cars!), the photo was taken December 15, i.e., 2 and a half weeks ago. Note - no ice or snow in the channel.
