Bird Watching: "cold windy day for all birds"

My first pictures of the day are gray and grainy because the sun wasn't up yet. And even when it does come up the wind and blowing snow will dominate the scene, not morning brightness.

[Mr. C. says, "Seeds are here under the snow."]

["You just have to dig down a bit"]

That being said, a pair of cardinals appeared from the nearby blue spruce and enjoyed 'breakfast, round 1' together. I say round 1 because I know they'll be back.
