The Workshop: "I had to wear me mitts!"

The temperature was minus 6 C in the shop yesterday. Colder than a witch's brew. When I found what I was looking for it was frozen solid.

["And that's my favourite brush"]

However, after turning the heater on I got to work. I quickly completed work on a sturdier bird feeder pole and accompanying wooden support. But the ground outside the shop was frozen. Hard as a brick.

["I cleared an inch of tundra and gave up"]

This morning I heat water and dig a hole. News at 11.
