["Shotgun blasts in the night?"]
Lately I've been finding numerous holes in my lawn that look like someone blasted a shotgun at my grass.
["Some scoundrel on its way south?"]
Some holes make me think the skunk that lives under The Annex is trying to dig his way to China in search of grubs.

When I see fresh holes I immediately feel I should chase the skunk out of his shady nook with a broom handle. But the thought soon passes. In two weeks my lawn will be lookin' great again.
