Birdhouse London

Barnboard Duplex w Feeder

["Don't throw out your wooden spoons. Call me!"]

I purchase lovely grey pine barnboard from Tim Handley's mill in Fenelon Falls on a regular basis. The wood is so nice to saw, sand, assemble, etc., for birdhouses and other projects. And every time I bring home a new batch in the back of my Civic I do a run of singles, duplexes, triplexes, even quads for local birds. Sometimes a swap box or two.

And two blocks away from Handley's mill is a Salvation Army Thrift Shop and it's there I go to buy up every wooden spoon and salad fork I can lay my hands on for perches.

PS The light green is a 'Harrison Original' called Light 'n' Minty... because of the taste : )
