Favourite Photo from Day 10
Between Barrington and Argyle (and also bounded by Prince and Rainnie) streets, Halifax the lovely Grand Parade Park is situated. And inside it are found fitting memorials to those who served and fell in three wars. My father would have loved this small corner of the city - in which he trained for WW2) because atop a centrally located mast/flag pole the White Ensign is flying, and he had felt honoured to serve under it, 1941 - 45.
