"Cheep goal. Cheep goal!"
Canadian Chickadee had an American Gold Finch over to watch today's hockey game. And Canada's Jamie Benn sank USA hopes for gold about two minutes into the second period. I heard a loud ruckus out back.
"Cheep goal," I heard, coming from the backyard birdhouse. "Cheep goal," I heard again as the finch flew over the fence toward Cleveland.
I thought it was a good tip-in myself.
