As I look out the second floor window of my son's house in Fenelon Falls I notice that most of the ice is gone from the river that joins Cameron and Spurgeon Lake.
Fenelon is going through a January thaw much like London. As snow was disappearing from my deck in old Londontown last week, ice was breaking up in and around here.
I have photos to prove it but am away from my computer and have no camera cord.
Pity. The river looks lovely, though I'd still rather see it covered with ice.

Time for my third cup of my son's strong coffee.
