Rescued Lumber
Yesterday, from what originally looked like a dirty mess of nail-ridden scrap I produced neat little piles of birdhouse stock. And that's just one of the reasons why I really like working with rescued lumber.
["I tidied up the scrap and revved up the table saw"]
["Old battens from exterior siding are now new logs for cabins"]
["Roof slats, logs and faces stack up nicely"]
["Another reason: Rescued lumber is usually free"]
The mess is gone from a house reno. Log cabins are underway.
More to follow on this front.
