The Workshop: A sturdy set of six houses

My old hammer - all the way from Ireland - got busy yesterday. So, the assembling of a St. John’s streetscape (previously mentioned: you realize you're always the first to know right?) is underway.

White cedar boxes, with pine strips attached to the front (rescued from closet doors), go together easily. Cedar takes a nail and, I swear, there won’t be a creaky floor or wall in the bunch.

Once all six are assembled they’ll come indoors for a basecoat, and while the primer dries I’ll put together doors, windows, front steps and address signs - six of each.

Busy days ahead.

By the way. Do you know the names of any streets in St. John’s, NFLD?
