Bird Watching: "Johnny or Jenny?"

During my morning walk I heard a wren's song several times before I spotted it atop a tree near the Thames River.

["Sing away, sing away, sing away do"]

On my way home, across the street from Thames Park, a red winged blackbird fell silent and turned its back on me while I walked past.

["I spy a bit of colour on its left shoulder"]

The photos lack colour but the walk did not.
