Bird Watching: "a happy trio"

Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal usually prefer to dine alone. But sparrows can be persistent and don't take up much space, so I spot a happy trio on occasion inside the feeder.

These photos are from eight days ago. Sharp-eyed viewers will notice the lack of snow in the air, compared to today in London.
