It Strikes Me Funny: "Is it a bird? Mighty Mole?" 5

I am poking my nose into a mole's outdoor home. Perhaps I'll have a fight on my hands sometime this week.

Yesterday, with garden trowel in hand, I expanded two entry ways into the lump of ice and snow I lovingly call my backyard.

I think there lies beneath this frozen ceiling a maze of tunnels running every which way. My dig may be worth a university credit. (Then I can officially graduate!  : )
