Bird Watching: "hey, you better get out here"

A male cardinal disappeared into my blue spruce seconds after he saw me reach for a camera on my study desk, beside the back window and 10 feet from the feeder. But the female stayed several seconds longer to berate me.

["The sparrows have cleaned out most of the seed"]

["Look at this, I'm eating chaff. Get out here, Kiddo!"]
