Harrisons Hit Chicago (4).

Highlight Around Every Corner.

These heavy-set folks crowded the sidewalk near Michigan Ave.

Chicago 2017. There was fun to be had every hour of the day, around every corner. Even a lunch break on Michigan, near the start line of Route 66, was a treat.

Paul carried his own well-produced maps in a backpack and info re the subway line in his head. We really never got lost. Once we left our digs at The Essex Inn in the early AM we kept busy until late into the PM.

And I think we still missed a few places. So, I think we will have to go back someday.

 Big Foot in Chicago!

 Paul takes a closer look

Inside lies real pies, real ale. Excellent lunchtime spot.

Inside the Real Pies Pub we found real lace curtains. Lovely!

Jolly Pumpkin Pub in South Chicago. Tricky bus ride.
But many excellent rewards for our effort.

Supper time at Hop Leaf Pub

Similar logo found back home at Anderson's Brewery.

We covered a lot of acres to find Half Acre Pub

This is one that got away, near Half Acres.

Evening out at Moody Tongue. Excellent beer list.

Did I try them all? Not this time. The bottom three were for me!

Relaxn' before the trip home on the bus and Tube.

Packed up and ready to go.

I can't believe how many photos I took. The age of digital is upon us! More to follow : )
