Hop Cones are Forming 5
Yup, I was right, and as many know that doesn't happen very often. It's Tuesday and I now have enough good-sized, fresh hop cones to have a 'hopped up lager day'. Just like I predicted.
Here's the recipe:
Happy Hour is at 5 p.m.
Open one can of mild lager
Add four hop cones fresh from the vine
Stir gently
Enjoy
If you're in the neighbourhood at 5 p.m. with a can of lager or pilsner in your pocket, pop out to the back deck. (I'll supply a glass and spoon). If I'm not already sitting down and 'stirring gently' I'll be in the shop. Just gently remind me it's Happy Hour. (Sometimes I get right into a new project).
