The Woodpecker Came Back
["Wow. What a mess the woodpecker has left me"]
A woodpecker enjoyed pecking away at a board over a shed door so much on Sunday that it came back later and went at it again. The first set of holes is now longer and wider.
One particular hole, likely drilled by a Mason or carpenter bee, definitely appears to lead into my storage shed. So, looks like I'll be replacing the board soon, then cutting it in half to see the bee's handiwork. Art display by Friday, or sometime after an already busy weekend.

After visiting 'allaboutbirds' online I've come to the conclusion that the bird is an adult female Hairy Woodpecker. Cool.
