Hopped Up Lager Day
Busy times in the workshop yesterday. People dropped by to chat and pick up projects and when Happy Hour rolled around I was caught up short. I didn't have my light lager ready for hops off the vine. However, after tidying up the shop (my next 'little free library' is underway and it's a dusty business), I improvised.
I dropped six fresh hop cones into a glass and added lots of mild pilsner and a touch of Mad Tom. Stirred the hops. Sampled.
Conclusion: Smashing!
