Excellent Cedar Wakes Me Up

A client visited the workshop recently to pick up a finished project, sniffed the air and asked, "Do you ever get tired of this?"

I admit I get used to the wood-infused aroma but definitely not tired of it. When cutting good rich cedar I often stop in my tracks - as if suddenly wide awake, shaking my head in approval - and take it in. Some pieces of wood send me, meditatively, over the moon.
