once per year, in white finery
apricot blossoms signal
warm spring temperatures.

while the signal
is but for a few days
it is loud, clear, brilliant

I once had a wife who used to give me signs and signals ~ with a cast-iron frying pan.

I like flowers better.

well bro the apricot tree looks gorgeous..I wish I had one..like little yellow plum trees also..Jim read that little birds like chickadees etc. like bird houses without a perch so bigger birds can't get in..really hot here now, spring has landed..enjoy the weather..love to you and Pat..L.Dee

"say it with a pan" - it could work at my house too.

Jim is reading up on birds and birdhouses, eh? Maybe he'll be my competition in a few months. North - South rivalry.

Another T-shirt and shorts day here in Beantown too.
