The Workshop - Three Cabins

From Cedar Fence Poles


I wish I'd taken a picture of the two pieces of old cedar post I cut into the logs and faces (triangles) for these three cabins. I think some people would appreciate the idea of getting 'something out of nothing', or 'one man's junk is another man's treasure'.


Only the roofs come from newer lumber, thanks to a wee rescue from The Wood Studio (Horton St.).

Most rescued lumber is better than lumber purchased from such places as Home Depot... unless I pick up marred material from the Depot's 'cull pile'. I love a good deal!
